Your Bridal Style
Soft. Considered. Personal.
I don't believe there is one definition of beautiful bridal makeup - every bride has different features, preferences, and ideas about what makes her feel beautiful.
My approach is to enhance rather than transform, creating makeup that still looks like skin, hair that feels effortless and a finished look that feels completely yours.

Your inspiration is always welcome, but you don't always need to arrive knowing exactly what you want - I will guide you through the options and use my professional experience to create something that feels right for you.
The Artist & Educator
Alongside my work as professional Makeup Artist, I lecture in Specialist and Media Makeup Techniques and will be soon entering my fifth year of teaching.

My professional work also spans fashion, commercial productions, live beauty events & creative artistry. This combination of artistry, education and industry experience gives me a detailed understanding of:

- Facial Structure
- Colours & Textures
- Skin Preparation
- Professional Application
- Makeup for Camera
- Product Performance

But technical knowledge is only useful when it creates a better experience for you.
My role isn't to tell you what you should look like on your wedding day. It's to understand what makes you feel beautiful - and use my expertise to bring that to life.

The Experience
Part 1 - Consultation
We'll talk through your wedding, your plans, your ideas and the kind of look you're envisioning.

Part 2 - Trial
We'll create and refine your hair and makeup together, considering your features, dress, accessories, photography and overall aesthetic.

Part 3 - Wedding Morning
On the day itself, everything has already been considered.
My aim is to create a calm, organised experience while bringing your finished look together beautifully.

Part 4 - The Finish
Final checks, finishing touches and those last moments before you leave for your ceremony.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a trial?
A trial is recommended for most brides, particularly if you're unsure about your final look or would like time to experiment and refine your ideas. Think of it as a preview for your final look before the big day.
When should I book my trial?
I generally recommend scheduling your trial around 8–12 weeks before your wedding.
Do you travel?
Yes. I'm based in the Lake District and regularly travel throughout Cumbria, Lancashire, Manchester, Cheshire and further afield. Travel outside of a 10 mile radius will incur an additional travel fee.
Can you accommodate my bridal party?
Yes. I'll recommend the best schedule based on your ceremony time and number of services. For larger parties, an additional artist may be recommended.
I don't know what makeup I want, is that OK?
Absolutely. You don't need to arrive with a finished Pinterest board. We'll work together to understand what you like, what you don't and what will complement you best.
Do you offer makeup only?
Yes. Makeup-only bridal packages are available.
Can I book hair and makeup without a trial?
Yes. The Wedding Day Bride package is designed for brides who feel confident proceeding without a trial.
